Bob and Charlene began their ministry at Glenview on Easter Sunday, 2021. The Flints moved to Madison County 7 weeks later. Though a semi-retired teaching evangelist, Pastor Bob clearly discerned God’s call to relocate and join the Body of
Christ that congregates at Glenview. He sensed the leadership deeply wants to impact the area where we are planted…one family at a time.
Bob’s passion is to love Jesus more and more. The way to that dream is through reading, studying and applying the Bible. Whatever aspect of pastoral ministry he is doing, Bob points to the reality that Jesus will use every circumstance of life to
point to the Savior…and make us more like Christ.
Charlene is a retired school teacher. After 32 years of serving 2nd graders in the classroom, she now enjoys serving in the area where help is needed. Her lifelong hobby of gardening remains a priority. The parsonage, in and outdoors, is filled with plants and flowers.
The Flints have 2 children and 5 grandchildren, all living in Ohio. So Bob and Charlene make several trips back to the Buckeye State!
Chuck and Ruth Wiegand have been members of Glenview since 1984. Always seeking to be contributors to Christ’s kingdom, the Wiegands fill many roles within our church community. Chuck currently serves as a Lay Pastor. This appointment came in November 2021. He is working closely with Pastor Bob to fine tune God’s purposeful plan for the years ahead. Ruth has been leading worship for over two decades. She has a heart for worship and prays that all worship at Glenview nurtures this same heart in others. Throughout the week, Ruth shares the love of Jesus as a kindergarten teacher in the Edwardsville schools.
